The iPhone's LiDAR draws the rooms as they truly stand, a slow panorama in each room lets the rishi see what sits where, and the compass fixes true north to the degree — because thirteen degrees is all it takes to move a kitchen from one zone into another.

How a two-minute walk becomes a vastu reading
Stand in the room
Open the walk, stand near the middle of a room. The phone's LiDAR is already measuring — tens of thousands of depth points a second.
Turn slowly, once
A single slow panorama. As you turn, the walls, doors and windows are drawn in real time, and the frames give the rishi eyes on what sits where.
North is fixed, to the degree
True north — not magnetic, not guessed from the street grid — is anchored at the front door. The whole reading turns on this number.
The mandala settles
The aṣṭa-dik mandala is laid over the home as it stands. Every room, door and object now has a zone, a lord, and a verdict — cited, not vibed.
